Bill has directed back to back entries at the Cannes Film Festival in 2011 and 2012, among other festivals.
 
My work moves between worlds: from Hollywood icons with carefully crafted images to adaptive athletes with spinal cord injuries. We all have stories beneath the surface, shaped by the things that break us and the things that remake us. I try to meet each person where they are, without judgment, without expectation. Listening for unguarded moments that connect us.
I’m not chasing perfection; perfection has never taught me anything worth keeping. Whether I’m photographing a star, an athlete rebuilding a life, or an object crafted with care, the goal is to honor what’s in front of me. To make one frame where the inner light reveals itself, long enough to remind us that every person is carrying more than we ever see.
